Typesetting and design are included in Keystroke’s project-management service, an integrated approach that ensures output of the highest standard. However, those clients who don’t require project management can still benefit from our dedicated typesetting-and-design service, which provides a very quick turnaround – fast, accurate and efficient.
Most of our work is with publishing houses, producing page layouts for books, including complex, highly illustrated works. We routinely produce large, multi-author volumes, specialising in Scientific, Technical and Medical (STM) and Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS). Over the years, we have also produced journals, brochures, reports and fiction – always prioritising attention to detail and error-free end products.
Our typesetters employ the latest technologies to meet our clients’ requirements. This includes high-end Apple Mac workstations, running the latest operating systems and Adobe Creative Suite. For layouts, we mostly use InDesign – with Quark Xpress on hand if needed. We are happy to comply with existing styles and templates or provide extra creative input in terms of design and the careful selection of fonts. We output in print-ready PDF files that are carefully checked before final delivery, with XML and eBook formats also available on request.
